Blooming tea, sometimes called artisans tea, are made with long tea leaves wrapped around delicate flowers and tied by hand. During the steeping the tea open to reveal the long leaves they are made of and the hidden flower inside. We recommend preparing blooming teas in a glass cup or pot and take the time to watch them gradually unfurl and open.
